Does the text leave my browser?
No. The current implementation analyzes text locally in JavaScript. It does not send drafts to a backend service.
What metrics are included?
Words, characters, characters without spaces, sentences, paragraphs, reading time, speaking time, target progress, repeated terms and mode-specific readability hints.
Does it work for French and English?
Yes. You can choose French, English or automatic mode. Repeated-term filtering uses language-specific stop words so common filler terms are less likely to dominate the result.
Why does meta mode use characters?
Meta descriptions are constrained by snippet length, so character progress is more useful than word progress for that workflow.
Are ads active?
No. AdSense slots are reserved but disabled. There is no active ad script, publisher ID or tracking tag in the default build.
